Kindergarten is the new single from Chloe. It is about being so in love with someone that your heart feels like it’s back in kindergarten, but you are so nervous about telling them that your stomach is all twisted. It is a beautiful track that has a deceptively sweet melody that contrasts with the angst of the lyrics and it draws you in with an hypnotic intensity that has you really caring and hoping that they get together. The video clip has Chloe sitting on her bed pleasantly thinking about her crush and writing her crush’s name in a love heart using telekinesis and moving other things with her mind. We then see Chloe watching her crush and discovering that she had a boyfriend which devastates Chloe, who then goes home, creates an effigy of the crush and proceeds to ritualistically kill her, with more blood than you would expect from a stuffed toy. If you feel that this video clip might be too disturbing for you there is always the original video of Chloe singing the song in her real bedroom with just her ukulele and singing that is just as beautiful as in the video.
