Bohemian Rhapsody was originally released by Queen on their 1976 album A Night at the Opera and as one of the biggest selling singles of all time. It tells the story of someone who has committed murder and describes the torment that is going on in his head. This is an incredible version of the song from Vika where she sings most of the song in Russian, she leaves out the operatic section in the middle and the rock section that immediately follows it, going straight from the instrumental to the outro. In this recording we are not only treated with Vika‘s superb singing but we also get to hear her accompany herself on piano with her left hand not only playing the bass part but also often jumping up to play the high notes as well. It would be great if Vika were to a compete studio version of this translation of the song with a full arrangement and the ability to multi-track the vocals so Vika could sing backing vocals and give us the 4-part harmonies, but this rendition is good enough to suffice.
