Leise Rieselt Der Schnee [Snow Falls Softly At Night] is a traditional German Christmas song that was originally published as a children’s poem in Eduard Ebel‘s 1895 book Gesammelte Gedichte [Collected Poems]. It is about the days leading up to Christmas, describing the winter countryside and saying that the Christ Child will soon be here. This is a beautiful version of this simple German festive song and is one of the few times that the twins sing publicly in their native language. They sing the first verse in a beautifully smooth German and follow up with an English version of the first and second verses, all sung with their wonderful harmonies.
