Time for some comedy.
Henrik Widegren is a Swedish medical doctor, singer, songwriter, actor, and artist. He started his performing career while studying and has since been a member of several music and theatrical groups. He released his first solo recordings in 2015 and has since released several albums, focusing largely on medical humour.
A Statistically Significant Love Song was originally released on the 2019 album Medical Melodies And Surgical Songs. It takes a satirical look at love songs, and statistics, to decide that the statistics indicate an attraction that is in the higher percentile of the distribution. It is has the sound of a stereotypical love song with full orchestration and, if you don’t listen to they lyrics, you would think that it is just another typical love song but the lyrics turn it into a delightful piece of satire on love songs, statistics, and general nerdiness. For this song Henrik is joined by Johanna Körner Berglund as the object of his desires.
