Today’s video is a live performance combining 3 young Eurovision acts from Armenia.
Dalita is an amazingly talented young artist from Armenia, who was born in Iran. This girl has done so much that it would probably be easier to list the skills that she doesn't have. Dalita is a Beauty Queen, an artist, a news presenter, a correspondent, a magazine columnist, a TV and Radio show host, a model, a TV actor, a pianist, a guitarist, a songwriter and a singer; and all before she was 15 years old. She represented Armenia at the 2011 Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC) in Yerevan as the host performer with the song Welcome to Armenia
Compass Band are an Armenian rock group consisting of Davit Paronikyan on lead vocals and bass guitar, Aram Tsaturyan on guitar, Abraham Aznauryan on keyboards and Arshavir Grigoryan on drums. In 2012 they represented Armenia in the 2012 Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC) with the song Sweetie Baby.
Narek Kazazyan is an Armenian qanun player. He represented Armenia in the 2012 Eurovision Young Musicians (EYM) and was the 1st performer to represent Armenia in the contest.
Sweetie Baby is the song that Compass Band performed at JESC. This version was performed live at the 2013 Armenia Music Awards. This version starts with Dalita singing the lyrics in English, followed by the boys from Compass Band who sing in Armenian with extra backing from Dalita. This is then followed by a qanun solo from Narek.
